It is I!

It is I! Heidrich's car itself! For these artifacts to make sense follow the posts as they appear on the side bar. Right there------>

The Memorial

This is the original cover to the official memorial death book of my loyal Reinhard Heydrich. This is the perfect summary of how wonderful he was in life and what great contributions he made to the Reich.

(You can read Hermann Feur's translation of it here)

The Report

This is a full report on the investigation of the assassination. It includes maps of the church, the crypt, and the ventilation shaft.  Numbers and details written down gives me a sense of closer to whole thing, maybe I can move on from such a loss after all.

The Massacre Justice

This is a photo taken after the destruction of the town of Lidice. The Lidice massacre was my favorite act of justice in the name of my Heydrich! All men over the age of 15 were to be shot in groups of ten through day and night until the killers were found. The town was torn apart by Nazis officers!  It's such an honor this was in the name of my very own Heydrich!

This photo shows the burning of the city to unquestionably erase the idea of this city as a punishment for the great loss we have suffered!

My Memmories

This is a newspaper clipping announcing the appointment of my wonderful Heydrich as the new Reich Protector in PragueThat day was a wonderful day, we met each other for the first time and we were together until the end. What a bliss it is to reminiss of days before tragedy struck!! Those were the moments when we wed filled with nothing but hope!

The Church

This is the Alter at the Church of St. Cryil and Methodius. The paratrooper team was hiding in this church until SS-Brigadeführer Karl von Treuenfeld, one of the men in charge of the search, ordered both the Reserve Battalion Deutshuland and the Guard Battalion Prague to surround the church, starting a night long battle for the scoundrels' proper arrest. The troops burst into the room from behind the wood panel as the Czech scum were cornered to the wall.

This photo was taken as the Prague fire department tried to flood the crypt from the outside to force the traitors outside.

This stair case was barricaded by a large stone slab.t from the outside, the men had barricaded themselves inside the church's crypt like cowards in. However this failed and more men noticed a ventilation shaft outside the crypt that they then shot through, how sad it is this too failed. When they released they were completely surrounded the four Czech cowards left committed suicide rather than face their fate!

This is a picture taken as the bodies of the paratroopers are pulled out of the crypt to be identified by our helper Karel Čurda. A crowd has gathered to see if the traitors were finally dead.

The Reward

This is a poster offering a 10 million Crown reward for any information leading to the arrest of the scum who pulled the attack. One traitor, Karel Čurda, was found hiding with his mother and was arrested and interrogated by the Gestapo. He finally presented us the names of the attackers local contacts for a bribe of 1 million Reichmarks. Later we received a kind letter from him revealing the names of the two men who carried out the attack.

The Halifax

This is the plane that was used to drop the team into Prague by parachute coming from Britain where the attack was planned. It was a Handly-Pane Halifax Mk.11.The Gestapo knew to look for parachuters after the tragedy because the spare grenade and faulty gun left behind had made British parts. This was one of the first leads in their investigation I'm told.

This is a document of the Halifax's flight from the british airport as it departed on it way to start the men's deadly mission.

The Two Men

Theese are the two men most well known for their roles in operation Anthropoid. Jan Kubiš on the left, the man who threw the last grenade, and Josef Gabčík on the right, the man who initially stopped us. I was expecting Karl Svoboda, I heard that he was to be a part of some mysterious plan, but i later learned that he had suffered a head injury that would cause  Jan Kubiš to replace him and a delay of the attack from October 28, 1941 (Czechoslovakia's independence day) to May 27, 1942.A team of fifteen men parachuted down east of Prague. These two men carried out the actual attack on that dreadful day.

This
document describes all the SS knew about Gabčík and Svoboda's involvement in operation Antropoid. At the time all that we knew was that it was some plan intended to take Czechoslovakia away from Germany's control.

This is a picture of the four men who made the decision to create operation Anthropoid. I recently learned from my radio that they are the exiled leaders of old Czechoslovakia. I believe their names are Frantinsek Moravec, Sergej Ingr, Edvard Benes, and Rudolf Viest.

The Hairpin Turn

This is the hairpin turn we were making our way around when the man with his machine gun stopped us. The man's name was Josef Gabčík. There was another man too, Gabčík and Jan Kubiš were the leaders of this team charged with carrying out the deadly Operation Antopoid. Kubiš was the one who threw the grenade at me, luckily he, too, was injured by debree from me! Shrapnel from the grenade's blast hospitalized Heydrich but surgeons were able to save his life!! Oh what tragedy it was that he died a short time later because of an infection started by pieces of my own body lodged in his being!!!

The Grenade

This is a spare grenade like the one that was thrown at me. It ripped fragments through my right fender and threw shrapnel and upholstery fibers into Heydrich's torso. He got out his pistol to try and pursue the men but returned to my side and collapsed. He was hospitalized but this is what would later kill him, pieces of my own body!!!

These are British pencil fuses like ones the assassins carried  with them as extra gunpower  They were never used because it takes full fledged grenades to even injure the mighty Heydrich!

The team of men were equipped with a LOT of weapons. The parachuters brought with them two pistols (38 Colt) with four spare magazines and one hundred bullets, one Sten. Mk.II machine gun with one hundred bullets, two model Mills grenades, two armor-piercing bombs filled with plastic explosives, a separate thirty two pounds of plastic explosives, one Tree Spigot bomb launcher with one bomb, four smoke bombs, two magazines of fuses, four electric fuses, two yards of fuse rope, three timing pencils, and a reel of steel thread.

The Valiant Car

I am the car of the great Reinhard Heydrich!I was his most trusted automobile! His valiant steed! Anywhere he needed to drive i went there!! The wind in my grill and his hair on the most beautiful days! OH how i will miss him! We were on our daily root to the Prague castle, but tragedy struck!

This is a machine gun like the one that the first man who stoped us by jumping in the road had! He tried to shoot but the gun failed! But the joke wasnt up yet! Another man threw a grenade at me. Both Heydrich and I were wounded he tried to chase the men but soon came back to me a passed out. OH THE FEAR! He was taken away to the hospital and later he died of infection... Oh I will miSs Him sO!
